Reatha Strop Tomlinson

Mrs. Reatha Strop Tomlinson, 94, of Osceola passed away June 12, 2017 in Jonesboro. Born December 31, 1922 to Calvin and Pauline Chaney in McLean, Okla., she was a farm worker, worked at Osceola Shoe Factory and E.R. Moore, and in the automotive business. She was a member of Faith Chapel of Osceola.

She is survived by three sons, Billy Moore, Sr. (Betty) of Osceola, Buddy (Rhonda) Strop of Bono, Mike (Sue) Strop of Osceola; four daughters, Martha Moore (Charles) Hicks of Prescott, Linda Moore (Vincent) Saletto of Osceola, Retha Strop (Elgie) Osbon of Paragould and Pam Strop (Bud) Batchelor of Osceola; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Moore, Herbert Strop and Robert Tomlinson; her parents; a son, Bobby Jay Moore; a daughter, Shirley Bridges; sisters, Nancy St.Clair, Tressie Chaney, Cavela Chaney, Ruth Porter, and Ruby Lewis, and brothers, J.S. Smith and John Smith.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Roller Swift Chapel.
