Demetrius Cy Williams

Mr. Demetrius Cy Williams, 58, passed away on May 20, 2017 at his home in Osceola. He was a construction worker and a member of St. John Full Gospel in Osceola.

Mr. Williams is survived by his fiancé, Essie Collins of Osceola; one son, Demetrius Williams, Jr. of Bryant; three daughters, Shawniqua Burns of Hazel Crest, Ill., Yolanda Williams of Springdale and Casaundra Catlett of West Memphis; five brothers, Daryl Williams of Blytheville, Terrance Williams of Osceola, Tory Williams of Oxford, Miss. and Andre and Portia Williams, both of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Monica Taylor of Blytheville, Jackie Govan of Little Rock and Sharon Williams of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, X.L. Williams and Julia Mae Thomas Rodgers and one sister, Nikki Williams.

Visitation will be held from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. John Full Gospel in Osceola, with the funeral immediately following. Rev. R.L. Johnson will be officiating. The burial will be held at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola. Services provided by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
