Harold J. Fitzjerrell

Harold J. Fitzjerrell, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born April 21, 1926, in Quitman to the late Herbert and Lena Reynolds Fitzjerrell. He was a retired John Deere dealership manager. Harold proudly served as a paratrooper in the United States Army during WWII and will be remembered as a loving father, brother and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Wilfong (Gary) of Maryland Heights, Mo., Vicki Loux of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Elaine Dunkus of Warrenton, Mo.; two sisters, Nina Nahlan and Pat Nutter, both of Conway; grandchildren, Mark, Todd and Doug Loux, Emily, Olivia, Jacob, Daniel, Gracie and Nathan Wilfong, Jennifer Schoelhamer and Tony Carter (Kellie), as well as nine great-grandchildren

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Lou, in 1996 as well as a sister, Lillian Crump.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. With Bro. Aaron Baker officiating. An interment with military honors will follow at Monette Memorial Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Gary Wilfong, Gary Carter, Steven Loux, Jacob Wilfong, Tony Carter and Jeff Carter.
