Gracie L. Morris
Mrs. Gracie L. Morris, 78, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at her home.
Gracie was born in the Lost Cane Community to A.C. and Artie (Bourland) Owens. She was the office manager at Dr. Lawrence Abramsonís office before retiring and was also the former office manager at Blytheville Water Company. Gracie was a member of North Tenth Street Baptist Church and loved to travel, shop, and play golf.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Stacy Caviness.
Gracie leaves her husband, Bill Morris of the home; three children, Chris Gee (Tammy) of Blytheville, Pamela Morris of Knoxville, Tennessee and Kevin Morris (Linda) of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Leroy Owens of Union City, Tennessee; one son-in-law, Curty Caviness of Marion; six grandchildren, Kelly Fogleman (Franklin) of Marion, Kasey Scalzo (Joseph) of Marion, Jay Gee (Jestle) of Steele, Mo., Lyndsey Bryan (Hunter) of Jonesboro and Avery and Kallie Morris of Fort Worth, Texas; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 14th in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Max Briley officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to North Tenth Street Baptist Church.
