Mr. Prince Phillip Carter

Mr. Prince Phillip Carter was born July 2, 1964 in Osceola, Arkansas to the parentage of Albert Carter, Jr. and Mary Carter Jones Pittman. He was educated in the Blytheville School System and was a former employee of R.D. Hughes AG. He was a U.S. Amy veteran and served in Desert Storm. He received many awards and medals while in the military. He united with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ under the leadership of Bishop John Blair.

On February 28, 2017, at his home in Blytheville, Arkansas, he began his journey to his eternal home. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers and grandmothers: Albert Carter (Lillie Carter) and Arthur James Johnson (Earline Johnson Moran).

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mrs. Mary Carter Jones Pittman of Blytheville; His father, Mr. Albert Carter Jr. Of Osceola; two brothers, Anthony Carter of Osceola and Ricky Carter of Blytheville and three half- brothers. He also leaves behind one sister-in-law, Rhonda Carter; one step son, Stephen Gresham; one half-sister; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Holy Tabernacle Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Blytheville. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday March 11, 2017 at Holy Tabernacle Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Blytheville. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee.
