Mrs. Betty Pharo

Mrs. Betty Pharo, 90, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Betty was born in Osceola to David and Susan (Muir) Moore. She was a retired teacher and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Betty liked to travel and play bridge with her dear friends, Rosemary Hughes, Jean Smith and Marcie Simon. She was a member of the G.G.'s Bridge Club, the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association, the Altar Society, and Delta Kappa Gamma Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie J. Pharo; a daughter, Mary Pharo; brother and sister, Mitchell and Martha Moore and son-in-law, Robert Dryer.

Betty leaves three children, Eddie J. Pharo, Jr. (Joyce) of Blytheville, Susan Dryer of Blytheville and Jann Pharo of North Little Rock; five grandchildren, David Pharo of Columbus, Mississippi, Jennifer Pharo Hay (Nathan) of Jonesboro, Charles Dryer (Shari) of Omaha, Nebraska, Sarah Dryer of Blytheville and Elisabeth Lins (Joe) of Newark, Delaware; and five great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. T.J. Hart officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rosary beginning at 9:30 a.m.
