Mr. Rodney Adkisson

Mr. Rodney Adkisson, 77, of Southaven, Mississippi passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Baptist Desoto. Rodney was a graduate of University of Arkansas. He retired from Bancorp South after 30 years of banking. Rodney's greatest pastimes were hunting and fishing and has many trophies of his accomplishments.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Maxine Adkisson and his yorkie of 14 years, Regis.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 21 years, Donna Adkisson of Southaven, Miss.;

Four sons, John Adkisson of Southaven, Miss., David Adkisson of Oxford, Miss., Barry Layne of Blytheville and Tobey Layne of Blytheville; and

A sister, Nancy Webster of Blytheville.

Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Longview Heights Baptist Church, 4501 Goodman Rd. Olive Branch, Miss. with the service to immediately follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Blytheville.
