Flossie Angelee Hall

Mrs. Flossie Angelee Hall, 92, of Caraway, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Aug. 31, 1924, in Oxford, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Lenard and Lema Ann Pinkston Layne. Mrs. Hall was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Black Oak and was a lifelong area resident. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, making yard ornaments and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Ricky Kelems and wife Madolyn of Lake City, Roy Kelems and Lisa of Caraway, and Robert Hall and wife Edna of Monette; one daughter, Melvina Richardson of Ft. Smith; two brothers, Hershal Layne and Lendal Layne, both of Searcy; two sisters, Euna Mae Layne and Brenda Kay Layne, both of Searcy. Mrs. Hall also leaves 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Hall; two sons, Troy Kelems and Pearl Ray Kelems; one daughter, Doris Farmer; two grandchildren, Billy Ray Weeks and Joshua Kelems; and two great-grandchildren, Bailey Kelems and Hannah Michelle Kelems.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at New Hope Baptist Church in Black Oak with Bro. Tyrone Koons and Bro. Heath Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Caraway Cemetery with Faith Funeral Service of Manila in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
