Inez C. Henderson Carthee

Mrs. Inez C. Henderson Carthee, 89 of Blytheville, died November 25, 2016 at Methodist Central University Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Born on May 22, 1927 in Moorhead Mississippi, she was the daughter of Dee Green and Blanche Mackafee Green. She moved to Blytheville more than 50 years ago from Mississippi and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her two husbands Frank Henderson and Robert Carthee, two sisters Juanita Hardin and Ruby Anderson, three brothers Eddie Green, Frank Green, and Rufus Michheols, three daughters Maeunice Johnson, Frankie Foreman, and Joyce Harvey, and three sons Frank Henderson, Jr. Charles Henderson and Ernest Henderson.

She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church under Reverend G.W. Conaway and later became a member of New St. Paul Baptist Church under Reverend Clark Phillips.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Martha Jean (Calvin) Ezell of Memphis, Tenn. and Dr. Blanche (Arthur) Hunt of Blytheville, three sons Roy (Grenda) Henderson of Norfolk, Va., Robert Lamar (Lisa)) Carthee of Chantilly, Va. and Michael (Debra) Carthee of Blytheville, one sister, Mrs. Affa (Sam) Williams of Jackson. Mich., a brother, Mr. Neal (Katherine) Green of Chicago, Ill., two sisters in law, Mrs. Nancy Green and Mrs. Lillie Mae Green, a brother in law Haywood (Darlene) Hardin of Blytheville, 34 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 12:00 noon at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 515 E. Sawyer Street, Blytheville. Reverend Clark Phillips, pastor with burial to follow at Gethsemane Gardens.
