Billy Wayne Hancock, 72, of Manila, passed away Nov. 21, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born Feb. 26, 1944, in Manila to the late George and Georgie Cravens Hancock. He enjoyed watching westerns, riding grandkids on golf cart, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hancock of the home; one son, Wayne Hancock of the home; one daughter, Barbara Cole of Manila; five grandchildren, Allan Lasater and wife Nikki of Leachville, Jeremy Lasater and wife Shawna of Manila, Mathew Ridley, Elizabeth Brimm, and Harley Hoskins; five great-grandchildren, Raven Fields, Bella Melvan, Hannah Lasater, Emalynn Smith and Bailey Lasater; one great-grandaughter on the way, Natalie Lasater; one sister, Paulette Fox of Marked Tree; three brothers, Jake Hancock of Mississippi, Ardell Hancock of Manila, and Albert Hancock of Leachville; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Herbert Hancock.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Carroll's Corner with Brother Mark Wilbanks officiating. Interment will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

The family will receive visitors from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at the church.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Bradley, Edd Eldridge, Edd Wallace, Austion Moore, Harvey Joe Tillman and Joe Askue. Honorary pallbearers were Jeffery Penninton, Glen Penninton and Ray Lee.
