Ola Call

Mrs. Ola Call, 93, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Heritage Square Nursing Home.

Ola was born in Elora, Tennessee to John D. and Beulah (Simmons) Campbell. She was a retired LPN at Chickasawba Hospital and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she was a former choir member. Ola was a Veteran of the Women's Army Corps. She served in World War II as a Sergeant and also served in France and England. Ola moved to the Blytheville area in 1940 with her family which was engaged in farming in Dell. She was a very good seamstress and loved to needlepoint, cross stitch, and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert H. Call; her parents; and brothers, J.D. and Albert Campbell.

Ola leaves her daughter, Shirley J. Davis of Blytheville; brothers, Gilly Campbell of Tuckerman, Arkansas and J.L. Campbell of Brownsville, Tennessee; and sister, Eunice Gray of St. Louis, Missouri.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Silvey officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
