McKinley Kirkland

Mr. McKinley Kirkland, 67, of Blytheville, passed from this life on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis. He was born on June 6, 1949 in Memphis to the late William and Julia Alexander Kirkland. He was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and was also an auto mechanic of the Spiritual faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Willie Mae Kirkland-Cook, three brothers, William Kirkland, Henry Perry and Willie Lee Kirkland.

Mr. Kirkland leaves behind one son, Allen Watts of Benton Harbor, Mich.;

One brother, George Kirkland of Nashville, Tenn.;

Three grandchildren; and

Five great-children.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens with Bishop Roscoe Roberson officiating.The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
