Clifton Leon Richmond

Mr. Clifton Leon Richmond, 51, of Manila, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born in Osceola, he was the son of the late Leon and Marilyn Richmond. He was raised in the Dyess Community, was a longtime employee of Schueck Steel and was currently employed at Primetals in Blytheville. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle and always had a project going.

He was a 1984 graduate of Rivercrest High School and attended both Arkansas State University and Arkansas Northwest Community College, where he earned an Associates Degree in Applied Arts.

Mr. Richmond leaves his wife of 29 years, Stacey Ann Williams of the home;

Three sons, James (Samatha) Richmond of Manila, Justin (Jessica) Richmond of Steele and Garrett Richmond of Manila;

Two daughters, GraceAnn Richmond and Erica Richmond both of Manila;

One brother, Jeff Richmond of Pauls Valley, Okla.;

One sister, Sheila Lampe of Blytheville;

One granddaughter, Annabelle Richmond; and

Two grandchildren on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 24 at Joiner Baptist Church with Reverend Josh Thompson and Reverend Bob Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Bassett Cemetery in Joiner. The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Saturday, September 24, at the church.
