Donald Hurt

Mr. Donald Ray Hurt, age 71 of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born July 12, 1945 in Louisiana, he was the son of Louis and Maxine Parr Hurt and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hurt was a great mechanic back in the day and enjoyed working in his yard, playing his guitar, taking care of his dog Roxie and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life of 46 years, Irene Hunt; his father, Louis Hurt and one brother, Roy Hurt.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine Pratt of Wilson;

Two sons, Donnie Hurt and wife Lisa of Trumann and Danny Hurt and wife Charlotte of Blytheville;

One daughter, Donna Cain and husband John of Lead Hill, Ark.;

One sister, Azalea Carr of Wilson;

14 grandchildren (including Katie and Khloe, twin girls, that were his very special babies), eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial services will be Friday, September 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at the First Assembly of God in Trumann with Bro. Kenneth Doke officiating.

Faith Funeral Service of Manila is in charge of arrangements.
