Barbara Marie Irwin

Barbara Marie Irwin, 82, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1934, in Long Beach, Calif., to the late Pete and Mary Motcher Tarsarar. She was a homemaker who was also a pilot. She attended New Hope Baptist Church in Black Oak.

She is survived by a daughter, Veronica Irwin Farnsworth of Washington; two nieces, Winnie Heil of California and Beverly Stark of Utah; a nephew, Thomas Irwin of California; 10 grandchildren and 20 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tom Irwin.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5, at Pine Log Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
