Ben "Larry" Hipps, 68, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born to George and Irene (Sheffield) Hipps, Larry was retired from Blytheville Public Works Sign and Signal Shop after working for 35 years. He attended Dogwood Road Church of Christ. Larry loved to hunt, especially with his best friend, Robert Bailey. He loved to watch Duck Dynasty and sci-fi shows, especially anything Bigfoot related.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Easley Hipps, of the home; children, Tina Marie Tate and husband Anthony of Blytheville, Amanda Diane Williams and husband Kelly of Blytheville, and Samantha Michelle Hipps of Blytheville; grandchildren, Luna Leia Williams of Blytheville, Sean Draven Green and wife Connie of St. Louis, Missouri, Sheree Dawn Tate of Blytheville, and Dusty Lu Tate of Blytheville; and great-granddaughter, Madi Gray Green of St. Louis, Missouri.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 29th at 3:00 p.m. in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
