Russell buying breakfast for police officers

Tuesday, July 26, 2016

Local businessman David Russell (back, right) is buying local police officers breakfast now through July 31 at The Front Porch Cafe on Main Street in Blytheville as a way to show appreciation for their service to the community. The offer is to officers with the Blytheville Police Department, Mississippi County Sheriff's Office and Osceola Police Department. Russell and The Front Porch Cafe owner Phil Dever (back, left) are shown thanking (from left) BPD Cpl. Marshall Foster, MCSO Deputy David Pinkerton, BPD officer John Newman and MCSO Capt. Jeremy Tucker. Officers are asked to wear their police attire when taking advantage of the free breakfast. "We appreciate all you do for us," Russell said. "Again, thank you." Russell is the owner of Russell's Sales and Service.
