Viola Reed

Viola Reed, 91, of Wilson Ark. died June 6,2016 in Wilson Ark. Born March 18, 1925 in Butler Ark., to the late Gluche Evans and the late Fannie Mae Burnette Thomas, Reed was a homemaker and a member of Wilson Chapel M.B. Church.

In addition to her parents Viola was preceded in death by sons, Isiah Reed Jr., Eugene Reed, Claude Reed, and brother, Claude Evans.

Mrs. Reed leaves her husband of 73 years, Isiah Reed;

Four daughters, Detrak Porter of Wilson Ark., Nelly Amos of Chicago Ill., Shirley Flowers of Chicago Ill., and Cassandra Cook of Wilson Ark.;

Six sons, Bennie Reed of Cairo Ill., Leon Reed of Chicago Ill., Curley Reed of Osceola Ark., Farris Reed Sr. of Chicago Ill., James Reed of Bassett, Ark., and Larry Joe Reed of Canton, Ga.;

Thirty-Eight grandchildren;

A host of great-grandchildren; and

Three great great-grandchildren.

Visitation services will be June 10, 2016 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola Ark. Funeral services will be held June 11, 2016 10:00 am at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola, Ark. Burial services will be held at Whiteside Cemetery Osceola, Ark. Rev. Waldo Campbell will be the officiating minister. All arrangements are being made by Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
