Willis Franklin

Mr. Willis Alonzo Franklin, 69, of Osceola, died on Saturday, May 28th at Jonesboro. He was born on October 13th, 1946 in Bassett to the late Benjamin Harrison and Mary Thrasher. He was retired factory worker and of Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Franklin is preceded in death by his son, Randy Franklin, his brother Jimmy Franklin and his two grandchildren Heather Franklin and Amy Wright.

Mr. Franklin leaves behind his wife, Bessie Franklin of Osceola;

Five daughters, Debbie Stevens of Marianna, Lisa Conley of Osceola, Lisa Hilburn of Blytheville, Chloe Franklin of Osceola and Katlynn Franklin of Osceola;

Three sons, Allen Franklin of Manila, Gene Franklin of Osceola, and Nejamin Franklin of Showlow:

Seventeen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

His visitation will be held on Thursday June 2nd, 1016 at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. His funeral will proceed after the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home. He will be buried at the Bassett Cemetery at Bassett. Brother Wayne Moore will be the officiating minister and with the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola in charge of the funeral services.
