Robert Lee England, Sr., 84, of Manila went to be with his Lord and Savior as he passed from this life Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Couch, Mo., he was the son of the late Joel and Jesse Callahan England and was a 1950 graduate of Couch High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and had been a Manila resident for the past 55 years. Bob was the former longtime office manager for the Bush Brother's Canning Company in Blytheville and later retired from American Greetings in Osceola. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Robert England, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Wilda Susan Cossey England of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael D. and Mary England of Jonesboro; a daughter-in-law, Pennie England Williams; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday June 4, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. James Chipman officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Saturday from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Henry Ford, Tracy Reinhart, Barry Baker, James Skinner, Jackie Hill and Loy Jackson.
