Robert Brooks

Mr. Robert Brooks died Friday, April 15, 2016 in Chicago Ill. Robert was born March 31, 1932 in Armorel, Ark. to late Henry and Mary Piggee Brooks. Mr. Brooks Accepted Christ at an early age and attended Pecan Point School in Arkansas. Robert loved his family and friends and was a hard worker for Meyer's Bakery of Blytheville until he relocated to Chicago, Illinois where he retired at the Amgo Wire Company.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Conley, Mrs. Ada Bedford, Mrs. Henrietta Leverson, Mrs. Irene Robinson, and a brother, Joe Willie Brooks.

Robert leaves his wife, Dorthy Brooks of Chicago, Ill;

Four sons, Ray (Marie) Brooks, Perry (Connie) Brooks, Earl (Jennifer) Brooks, and Robert Boose, all of Milwaukee Wis.;

One daughter, Barbara Brooks of Milwaukee, Wis. ;

Two brothers, Edward (Eddie Mae) Brooks of Chicago Ill., and James Henry (Louise) Brooks of Brookhaven, Miss.;

Two sisters, Ruthie Brooks of Atlanta, Ga., and Bobbie Brooks Harris of Warren Robins, Ga.;

Mr. Brooks also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 4th at 10:00 am at McDonald-Horne Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. Arrangements are by McDonald-Horne Funeral Home
