Virgie Barrentine, 69, of Steele, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her home.

Born to Frank and Geneva Richardson, Virgie was a retired teacher at Lighthouse Christian Academy. She was a member of Harvest Time Tabernacle and was very active in her church. Virgie loved her children and grandchildren, and was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Frankie Boles, and Bettie McDaniels; and brother, Jerry Richardson.

Virgie leaves her husband, Graham Barrentine;

Children, Teresa Cybulski (John) of Blytheville, Graham Barrentine, Jr. (Sherry) of Steele, and Melinda Montgomery (Johnny) of Steele;

Brother, Ricky Richardson of West Plains, Mo.;

Sisters, Pat Summers of Blytheville, Geraldine Simpson of Blytheville, and Judy Davis of Texas;

Grandchildren, Kyle Moss (Brandy), Andrew Moss, Whitley Dixon (Vance), Hillary Barrentine, Cody Barrentine, Haley Hatfield (Patrick), Heather Throop (Steve), and Stormy Montgomery (Trevor); and

Great-grandchildren, Kyli, Lucas, and Wesley Moss, Natalie Hatfield, Danny Barrentine, Miley Byrd, Savanna and Delta Dixon, Landon and Levi Throop, Violet Mae Montgomery, and Regan Gamble.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terri Brassfield officiating. Inurnment will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
