Burnelle Bradley Johnson, 98, of Little Rock, passed away May 18, 2016. She was born November 20, 1917 in Pulaski County to the late Robert Leslie and Myrtle Stubbs Bradley. She grew up in Little Rock but finished high school in Blytheville, Arkansas and attended Arkansas State Teachers College in Jonesboro. She married Orvel Mack Johnson and they lived and raised their family in North Little Rock.

She served as the part time secretary of Park Hill Christian Church for many years. She volunteered with Cub Scouts, Brownie and Girl Scouts while her children progressed through the ranks. Both she and her husband were among the first people to water ski in the state of Arkansas. She played golf making a hole in one and was an avid bridge player outliving most of her bridge club. Burnelle was preceded in death by her twin sister, Beulah Belle Williams, sister, Bobbie Graham, and brother, Raymond Bradley.

She is survived by her children, Alden Johnson (Judy), Diana Holmes (Tom), and Beverly Hall (Bob), five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a graveside service at Pinecrest Memorial Park at 1 p.m. officiated by Rev. Linda White of Park Hill Christian Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Orvel M Johnson and Burnelle Bradley Johnson Family Endowment through the Mississippi County Community Foundation, P. O.
