Robert White

Robert "Bob" Nelson White, 83, of Russellville, departed this life Friday, March 25, 2016 at his home. He was born April 5, 1932 in Blytheville to Leonard and Brucie Barnes White. He moved to Russellville in 1991 and was a resident here for the rest of his life. Bob was a Jehovah's Witness.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 63 years, Lela Katherine White and a sister Jacque Hardin.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Beth Singleton and husband Steve of Lake City, Lea Stumbaugh and husband Steve of Dover, Ark., Kelli Nealy and husband Will of Russellville;

Two sisters, Shirley Lipford of Bangor, Mich. and Mary Jane Allen and husband Ernest of Mt. View, Ark.;

Four grandchildren, Ryan Singleton and wife Brandy of Southaven, Miss., Matt Stumbaugh of Dover, Jake Stumbaugh of Dover and Britney Nealy of Russellville;

Two great-grandchildren, Owen and Veronica Singleton of Southaven; and

Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle, Arkansas under the direction of Broussard Funeral Home of Russellville.

The visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the funeral home.
