Richard Pereszlay

Richard "Dickie" Pereszlay, 84, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 at his home.

Born to John and Helen (Orosz) Pereszlay in Toledo, Ohio, he was a retired tool and die engineer at Borg Warner. Richard served his country honorably as a medic in the United States Army and was a member of the Hungarian Reform Church in Toledo, Ohio. He was a mason for 30 years. Richard also enjoyed playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pereszlay; his parents; and son, John Pereszlay.

Richard leaves his children, James Pereszlay and his wife Donna of Defiance, Ohio, William Pereszlay of Blytheville, and Sandy Green and her husband, Frankie of Gosnell;

Two sisters, Delores Bradner and Joan Annelo both of Toledo;

Three grandchildren;

Numerous great-grandchildren; and

Numerous nieces and nephews.

No memorial service or visitation will be held. Interment will be private at a later date. The family requests any memorials be made to the Blytheville Humane Society, P.O. Box 1855, Blytheville, Arkansas, 72316, or to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
