Robert Chandler

Robert Lee Chandler, 66, of Burdette, died March 14, 2016 in Blytheville. Born May 23, 1949 in Luxora, he was a retired farmer and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Chandler, Sr. and Rosie Mae Harrell Chandler, wife Mary Lee Chandler, and sisters Cora Dorris, Linda Griffin and Ruth Gordon.

Mr. Chandler leaves four daughters, Jacqueline Hill of Reno, Nev., Angela Virgies, Judy Brown and Finda Robertson, all of Luxora;

Three sons, Charles Cannon and Darren Wilburn of Burlington, Iowa, and Christopher Chandler of Ft. Madison, Iowa;

Six sisters, Arniece Nash and Bessie Hancock of Champaign, Ill., Florence Bennett, Mae Gaskin and Brenda Chandler of Gosnell and Kim Chandler of San Antonio;

32 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 18 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
