Mary Leona Northcutt, 81, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Brookhaven Healthcare in West Plains, Mo.
Born to Irving and Pearl (Mays) Alexander, Mary was retired from Walmart after being a faithful employee of 26 years. She also worked as the account supervisor at the Credit Union for 24 years. Mary loved her church and the community. She was a member at Bethany Baptist Church where she was the youth leader. She was also the past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mary volunteered at the Haven as well as the Crisis Center. She was the coordinator of the Mary Northcutt Nursing Home project.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Northcutt; sons, John Keith Haynes and David Madison Haynes; daughter-in-law, Krystal Riggs; brothers, Fred Nutt and David Alexander; and sister, Margie Rhodes.
Mary leaves her children, Deborah Brown (Steve) of Armorel, Beth Barron (Dennis) of Alton, Mo., Tammy Northcutt White (Eddie) of Arkadelphia, Brenda Davison (Larry) of Blytheville, and Kathy Fry (Tim) of Plattsmouth, Neb.;
Daughter-in-law, Marguerite Haynes of North Little Rock;
Grandchildren, Scott Riggs, Joe Haynes, Austin White, Justin Waldrap, Charissa Moore, Abby White, Micha Haynes, Robert Haynes, John C. Haynes, Amanda Kemper, Jennifer Singleton, Zach Barron, and Tracey Easton; and
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
