Brenda Carter Sims

Ms. Brenda Carter Sims, 58, of Blytheville died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. Born August 20, 1957 in Blytheville, she was a factory worker and a retired army veteran.

Ms. Sims leaves two sons, Eugene Sims, Jr. of Jonesboro and O'Rayshell Sims of Grady, Ark.;

Four brothers, Preston Lee of Cincinnati, Ohio, Tony Daniels of Blytheville, Maurice Carter of St. Louis, Mo. and Tony Carter of St. Louis, Mo.;

Five sisters, Ella Day of Oklahoma City, Okla., Dianne Carter of Blytheville, Linda Carter of Blytheville, Tammy Carter of Blytheville and Darlene Brison of St. Louis, Mo.;

Two dogs, Alpo and Chuck D.;

One uncle, three aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the New Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 in the Wolfe Brother Funeral Home Chapel.
