Jackie Wayne McCoy, 73, of Leachville passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at St. Bernards Medical Center. Mr. McCoy was born Nov. 18, 1942, in Childers, Ark., to the late Jack and Dollie McCoy. Mr. McCoy was a member of the First Assembly of God in Leachville and enjoyed playing dominos and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Peggy McCoy of the home; one son, Wayne McCoy of Leachville; two daughters, Wanda Rippy and husband Larry of Rock Falls, Ill., and Sheila McCoy of Leachville; four brothers, Harvey McCoy and wife Glenda of Heber Springs, Raymond McCoy and wife Norma of Memphis, Tenn., Melvin McCoy and wife Tena of Leachville and Tony McCoy of Leachville; three sisters, Glenda Long of Leachville, Henrietta Walker and husband Berlen of Stuttgart and Regina Cox of Paragould; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Brenda Pemberton; one granddaughter, Crystal Pemberton, and two brothers, Clifton and Michael McCoy.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the First Assembly of God, Leachville with Pastor Tommy Newman and Pastor Berlen Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Hamilton, Russell Lawson, Dustin Clark, Nathan Stroup, Jeremy McCoy, Jason McCoy, Josh Lambert and Kevin Lambert.
