Mary Anderson

Mary Marie Anderson, 82, of Cooter, Mo., passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 at her home.

Born to Edgar and Annie (Rider) Miller, Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of Tyler Church of God. Church was her life and she played a very active role in her church. Marie was a former Sunday school teacher and the Sunday school superintendent. She was also the youth choir leader. Marie was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Anderson; her parents; and son, Randy Douglas Anderson.

Marie leaves her children, Rick Anderson of Cooter, Diane Payne (Jerry) of Steele, Kathy Shubert (James) of Holland, Mike Anderson (Dee) of Paragould, Mark Anderson (Jean) of Blytheville, Jason Anderson (Selena) of Dyersburg, and Jennifer Stigall (Bobby) of Steele;

Brothers, Don Miller (Vicki) of Charleston, Ill., Jimmy Miller (Peggie) of Red Bay, Ala., and John Miller of California;

Sisters, Nelda Macintyre (Bill) of Guys, Tenn., and Charlotte Winstead (James) of Steele;

21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 5 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
