Mr. Ronald Wayne Amick, Sr., 57, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born, October 31, 1958 to the late Maryann Curtain Robinson and Reynolds Wayne Amick, he had worked for several years as a sale associate for Wal-Mart in Blytheville.

Ronald loved to fish and hunt, spend time with his grandkids, dance, cook and be with his family. He also loved listening to oldies but goodies music and praying at the dinner and supper tables for every meal. On July 29, 1977 in the East Prairie Church of God he married Barbara Caldwell, who survives of the home.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Robinson, and stepfather Charles Robinson.

Mr. Amick leaves his wife, Barbara Caldwell of the home;

One son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Jamie Amick of Manila;

Two daughters and one son-in-law, Jessica and her son Apolo Derkek Amick of Gosnell and Alishia and Robert Douglas of Arcadia, Fla.;

Three bothers and two sisters-in-law, Ricky and Lisa Amick of Sikeston, Mo., Jerry Robinson of Plano, Ill. and Art and Rena Robinson of Anniston, Mo.;

One sister, Adele Ulmer of Sikeston, Mo.;

Seven grandsons and one granddaughter, Hunter, Dalton, Alyssa, Daniel, Nick, Robert, Kaleb, Derek; and

A host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2015 at 302 S. Washington Street, East Prairie, Mo. with Bro. Charlie Dixon officiating. Burial followed in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. The family received visitors after 5 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 302. S. Washington Street in East Prairie, Mo..

Pallbearers were Ronald Watson, John Gifford, Bubby Gammons, Bobby Wheatley, Danny Wheatley and Dalton Douglas.
