Vivian Ruth Perkins, 87, of Luxora passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro.

She was a resident at Heritage Square Nursing Home for the past six years. She was born in 1928 in Decatur, Ala. to the late Earnest and Inez Coggins.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Travis Perkins; six brothers, Cecil Coggins, Glenn Coggins, Turner Coggins, James Coggins, John Ed Coggins and Marvin Coggins; and one sister, Mary Adkisson.

She is survived by one brother, Larry Coggins;

One son, Jimmie Perkins;

Two daughters, Linda Carrillo and Farris George;

Four grandsons, Mitchell George, Tony Carrillo, David Carrillo and Paul Perkins;

Four great-grandchildren, Ashley Carrillo, Payton Russell, Hannah Russell and Madison Russell;

A nephew, Cliff Coggins and many more nieces and nephews.

She was a follower of Jesus Christ and is now home with the Lord.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Cobb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
