Earnestine Harris

Mrs. Earnestine Harris, 86, of Blytheville died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born November 12, 1929 in Tunica, Miss. to the late William Woods and the late Irene Hunt Woods, she was a retired home health aide and of the Jehovah's Witness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Harris, four sisters, Hannah Sloan, Priscilla Rayford, Charlene Woods and Willie Mae Christian and four brothers, Loice Woods, William Woods, Richard Woods and Warren Woods.

Mrs. Harris leaves seven daughters, Ora Crenshaw of Little Rock, Lucille Harris of Blytheville, Marylin Harris of Little Rock, Terry Mouton of Memphis, Tenn., Deshone Harris of Collierville, Tenn., Tondra Harris of Blytheville and Tracey Harris of Memphis, Tenn.;

One son, Roy Harris of Chicago, Ill.;

One step-son, Robert Porter of Chicago, Ill.;

Two sisters, Lucy Jordan and Irene Tyler, both of Chicago, Ill.;

One brother, Elmer Woods of Chicago, Ill.;

Seventeen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Sam Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
