Ruby Brown

Ruby Gene Brown, 80, of Blytheville, died Jan. 3, 2016 in Blytheville. Born March 27, 1935 in Red Bay, Ala., she was a homemaker and a member of Steele Pentecostal Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James Sprouse and Ocie Etta Eaton Sprouse, sister Ruth Burns, and brothers Donnie Sprouse, Ronnie Sprouse, J.R. Sprouse, and Jerry Sprouse.

Ms. Brown leaves five daughters, Jan (Kurt) Thorstad of Blytheville, Malinda (Mike) Gray of Manila, Kristi (Dan) Harvey of Jonesboro, Tammy (Britt) Edwards of Noblesville, Ind., and Jessica Brown of Blytheville;

One son, Kenneth (Kris) Floyd Brown of Blytheville;

Two sisters, Peggy Moody of Jonesboro and Dorothy Sanders of Memphis;

Five brothers, J.C. Sprouse, Larry Sprouse, and Johhny Sprouse of Labelle, Flo., Bobby Sprouse of Lilbourn, Mo., and Bill Sprouse of Chicago Heights, Ill.;

14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Gary Andrews, will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at Steele Pentecostal Church of God.

Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville is handling arrangements.
