Alta Davis Kincaid, 98, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.

Born to Lee and Lucy (Lamb) Davis, Alta was retired from Ango where she was a seamstress. She enjoyed the outdoors and doing things such as gardening, fishing, and hunting. Alta loved her family, children, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Alta was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Kincaid;

Three daughters, Joann Ball, Norma Jean Adams, and Peggy Sue Gentry;

Two grandchildren, Charles Glenn Weatherford and Steven Glenn Ball;

One great-grandson, B.J. Ball; four brothers; and five sisters.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Billy Joe Ball, Tammy Ball (Mike Shermon), Jame' Pearce (Mike), Kimberly Kirksey (Roy), Debby Bagby (Kenneth), James L. Branch, III, Angel Self (Tony), Kathy Dickerson (David), Trevor Gentry (Melanie), and Dustin Gentry; sister-in-law, Neva Kincaid of Paragould; 19 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; best friend of 75 years, Betty Starks of Lexington, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Culp officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
