Marveline Shrable

Marveline Shrable, 73, of Manila, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Mrs. Shrable was born June 14, 1942, in Dyess to the late Sidney and Odlene Smith Posey. Mrs. Shrable was a member of Souls Harbor Church and enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift stores.

Survivors include her husband, Jack W. Shrable of the home; one son, Tony Shrable and wife Deanna of Manila; two daughters, Lee Ann Bunch and husband Anthony of Mountain Home and Rose Marie Guinn and husband Larry of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; four brothers, Sidney Posey of Southaven, Miss., Raymond Posey of Dupo, Ill., Henry Ford and Mark Ford, both of Manila; one sister, Linda Ford Hensley of Manila; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Shrable was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Carl and Gordon Posey.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Souls Harbor Church with Rev. David Fair officiating. The family will receive visitors from noon until service time Tuesday at the church.

Interment will follow at the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
