Council changes franchise fees

At their September meeting Tuesday night, the Blytheville City Council unanimously passed an ordinance changing the telephone franchise fee rate charged to AT&T for doing business in the city, an ordinance authorizing the sale of specific excess city property, a resolution authorizing Mayor Sanders to apply for a GIF Fire Protection Grant to be used to repair the Blytheville Library's roof and a resolution supporting Career Readiness Certification.
