Carolyn Louise Lackey

Mrs. Carolyn Louise Lackey, 69, of Osceola, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born September 23, 1947 in Wilson to the late Claude Williams and the late Floella Wiseman Suggs, she was a retired accountant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Wanda Lee Smith, Thelma Virginia Guy and Shirley Bernice Suggs; six brothers, Milton Steele Suggs, Paul Howard Suggs, Alvin Willie Suggs, Melvin Dempsey Suggs, Jerry Wayne Suggs and Billy Ray Suggs;

Mrs. Lackey leaves her husband William "Billy" Lackey of Osceola;

Three daughters, Kristie (Eddy) Jones, Tracy (Wayne) Vaughn and Carollee "Suzy" Starnes, all of Osceola;

Two brothers, James Earl Suggs of Mississippi and William Suggs of Arkansas;

Six grandchildren, Duncan Jones, Kylie Jones, Tristan Vaughn, Chase Starnes, Wesley Starnes and Taylor Starnes; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 19th at the First Christian Church in Osceola with Brother Pat James officiating. Burial will follow at Rivercrest Gardens in Marie. The family will accept visitors from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18th at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
