Lucille Yankee, 86, of Blytheville, passed from this life Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her home.

Born to Earl and Ida Mae (Lamb) Wadkins, Lucille was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Fishing was one of her favorite things to do. She loved going to Hardy with her husband, L.D. Yankee. Lucille would go to deer camp and was the camp cook. She also loved to go to Hardee's for breakfast every morning.

In addition to her parents; Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Yankee; son, Leonard Yankee; and brother, James Wadkins.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Yankee and his wife Ann of Blytheville, James Yankee and his wife Dina of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, and Jimmy Yankee of Blytheville; brother, Earl Wadkins, Jr.; grandchildren, Wendy Quick (Tim) of Jonesboro, and Amy Taylor (Phillip) of Blytheville; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Broadrick of Nashville, Tennessee, Lauren A. Taylor of Blytheville, and Cade D. Taylor of Blytheville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, August 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Cox officiating. The family received friends from 12:00 until service time. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
