Geneva Estelle Jackson, 63, of Manila died early Friday, July 17, 2015, at her home. Born in Manila, she was the daughter of the late James Woodrow Macon and Rosie Lee Lutz and had lived several years in the Leola and Sheridan areas before returning to Manila. She was a certified nurses aide and was a member of the Bethabara Baptist Church near Lake City.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Wendell Macon and David Arthur Macon.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Willard Lee Jackson of Manila; one son and daughter-in-law, Woody and Renee Jackson of Poyen, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Steven McGehee of Dickinson, Texas; six sisters, Virginia Hart of Luxora, Shirley Hice of Manila, Faye Shepperson of Manila, Velma Holt of Leachville, Lavonda Macon of Manila and Juanita Reed of Manila. She also leaves six grandchildren, Ashleigh, Brittany, Dustin, Will, Cody and Kevin.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Jarrid McGrew officiating. The family received visitors Monday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Brush Creek Cemetery in Leola.
