Franklin Hobbs

Perry Franklin Hobbs, Sr., 79, of Lepanto, died of heart failure on June 30, 2015 at home. Born May 6, 1936 in Lepanto, he was a retired carpenter and a Pentecostal.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin R. Hobbs and Opal Hobbs, his wife Bonnie Faye Hobbs, sister Ima Faye Schaffer and brothers Garland Price and Donald Hobbs.

Mr. Hobbs leaves one daughter, Linda Gail (Jack) Tyler of West Memphis;

Three sons, Danny Hobbs of Lepanto, Perry (Lisa) Hobbs of Milligan Ridge, Ark. and Glenn (Shelby) Hobbs of West Memphis;

Seven grandchildren, Jack Tyler, Danny Hobbs, Jr., Jason Tyler, Joshua Hobbs, Caleb Hobbs, Natalie Hobbs and Jennifer Brewer; and

A host of great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 2 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Joshua Hobbs, will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 3. Burial will follow at Potter Cemetery in Lepanto.
