James Robert Lee, 74, of Cave City, Arkansas, formerly of the Blytheville/Gosnell area, passed from this life Saturday, May 16, 2015, at his home.

Born to Robert and Emily (Coates) Lee in Tomato, Arkansas, James was a graduate of Armorel High School. He was a retired construction worker for Boyette Concrete Company in Osceola and was of the Baptist faith. He and his family moved to Cave City five years ago. While there, he volunteered and kept Cave City's parks and school grounds clean.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Robert Lee Jr. and Michael Wayne Lee; and two great-grandchildren, Briannah Tabor and Shyannah Tabor.

James is survived by his wife, Opal Janice Lee of the home;

Two children, Donna Ward of Widener, Arkansas, and Laura Sue Bell of Cave City;

A brother, Roger Dale Lee of Luxora; and

Seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
