Wanda Stubbs, 76, of Blytheville, passed from this life Wednesday, April 29, 2015.

Born to Jake and Helen Lewis Mayberry in Hornersville, Missouri, Wanda was a caregiver. She worked at First Baptist Church Wee Care Center for 17 years. She also worked for Superior Senior Care, doing home health care. Being a former foster parent, Wanda had a big heart. She took in the children as if they were her own. Family and friends were most important to her, spending as much time with them as she could.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Stubbs; her parents; and two sons, Scott and Dennis Stubbs.

Wanda is survived by her children, Shelta May of Burdette, Brent Stubbs of St. Louis and Terry Stubbs of Barnhart, Missouri;

A sister, Imogene McAurthor of St. Louis;

Eleven grandchildren, Taylor May, Jordan May, Dalton May, Melissa Stubbs, Keith Stubbs, Christy Noble, Katie Gardine, Megan Allen, Joey Allen, Faith Branscum and Linda Daniels; and

Several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
