Mildred Kidd

Mildred Kidd, 87, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould.

A longtime member of Blytheville's First Baptist Church, she loved singing in the choir and charitable works of love with other elderly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rachel Godsey Grigsby; her husband, Jesse Kidd; two brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by her loving son, Bill Kidd;

His wife, Sheila;

Six grandchildren, Kevin Kidd, Justin Kidd and Shannon Hamrick, all of Jonesboro, Bryan Kidd and Marti Johnson of Paragould, and Scott Skinner of Altus, Oklahoma; and

Eight great-grandchildren

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville with the Rev. Richard Lourcey officiating.

Emerson Funeral Home and Cobb Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
