Dale Boyd

Dale Acree Boyd, 88, of Dover, Tennessee, died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015, at Manor House of Dover.

He was born May 2, 1926, in Granite City, Illinois, the son of the late Frank and Patty Crutcher Boyd.

Mr. Boyd served in the U.S. Navy and worked in highway construction.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jim Dean; one sister; and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Boyd;

Six children, Michael Boyd, Susan McMurry, Mike Dean, Sandra Wyatt, Deborah Boswell and Karen Monroe;

Fourteen grandchildren;

Several great grandchildren; and

Sseveral brothers and sisters.
