Curtis Lee Broyles Sr., 70, of Osceola, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Osceola Therapy and Living.

Born May 13, 1944, in Hughes to the late Paul Broyles Sr. and Beatrice Broyles, he was a retired factory worker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paulee Broyles; two daughters, Lolita Broyles and Deidra Young; two sons, Rodney Broyles and Leandra Davis; one sister, Clydia Broyles Fry; four brothers, Paul Broyles Sr., Earnes Broyles Sr., James Arthur Broyles and Tommie Broyles; and one granddaughter, Shylah Wiedman.

He leaves behind four daughters, Lendora Hill of Dallas, Texas and Endora (David) Jackson, Aretha (Ramond) Washington and LaSandra (Sammie) Johnson, all of Benton Harbor, Michigan;

Three sons, Curtis (Violet) Broyles Jr. of Osceola, Carl Broyles and Derrick Young both of Benton Harbor, Michigan;

Two sisters, Willa (Larry) Barnes of Pine Bluff and Pauline (Jeffrey) Levy of Dallas;

Eight brothers, Walter (Ressie) Broyles and Charles (Earnestine) Broyles, both of Benton Harbor, John Broyles of Henrietta, Texas, Bennie Broyles Sr. of Conway, James Thomas (Joyce) Broyles Sr. of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Jerry Broyles of Niles, Michigan, Sammie Broyles of Hot Springs and Roy Lee (Dena) Broyles of Dallas, Texas; and

Fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem MB Church in Osceola with Elder Rodney Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery.
