Holy Week promises many worship opportunities

It's hard to believe Easter is less than a week away, until you drive through town and see all the spring flowers and flowering trees in full bloom. Out here at the Lendennie homestead, we have daffodils of all sizes and colors in full bloom, as well as a few tulips. The grape hyacinth gave up after Jingle repeatedly dug them up, so I dug and dried the bulbs and they are "resting" in newspaper in a dark closet until I can find them a new place in the yard next November. The fairy hats (hellebores) are finally blooming, late but beautiful as ever, and the cherry and peach trees are just on the brink of being full of flowers.
