Ralph Edmond Barton, Jr.

Ralph Edmond Barton, Jr., 60, of Leachville, died Friday, March 13, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. A Newport native, he was the son of the late Ralph and Vennie Davis Barton and had been a Leachville resident for many years. He was active in the community and had served as a first responder and volunteer fireman.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Davidson Barton, of the home.

The family has requested private disposition with a memorial service to be announced at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
