Louise Kravchuk Linstrom

Louise Kravchuk Linstrom of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away and was received into heaven on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the age of 86.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, she was a devout Catholic who patiently and selflessly lived her faith through example. Louise was blessed with eight children. As a mother, her tenderness and sacrifice for her children provided the pathway for a solid moral compass. She was loving and supportive to her husband for 62 years. She served her community well, was active in the Altar Society, Meals-on-Wheels, Martha O'Bryan Center and cared for those in need. Louise recognized and treated all she met as her neighbor.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Linstrom; her eldest child, Katie Wilkinson; and her two brothers, Frank and Richard Kravchuk.

She is survived by seven children, Pete Linstrom of Tennessee, Tom Linstrom of Maryland, Mary Taylor of Georgia, Mike Linstrom of Texas, Suzanne Bingham of Tennessee, Amy Lynch of Tennessee and Edward Linstrom of Virginia; and

Twenty-two grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 1219 Second Ave. South, Nashville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to The Alzheimer's Association at alz.org through the Linstrom Tribute Fund.
