Brent "Buddy" A. Hamm, 86, of Double Bridges, Arkansas, left this world on Friday, March 6, 2015.

He was born in Keiser, to Isom and Ollie Bell (Powell) Hamm. Buddy loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed spending time with his friends on the farm. Buddy was a faithful member of Ruddle Road Church of God.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Brenda Hamm Summers; and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy (Wheeler) Hamm;

Three sons, Ray Hamm of Armorel, Brent "Corkey" Hamm Jr. of Chicago and David Hamm of Double Bridges;

Three daughters, Linda Wilson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Donna Beckwith and husband Roger of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Sharyn Parrish and her husband Tommy of Dyersburg, Tennessee;

Three brothers, James Branum of Knoxville, Tennessee, Luther Gifford Jr. of Blytheville and Ollie Lee Gifford of Knoxville, Tennessee;

Three sisters, Helen Mae Heath of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Peggy Sexton of Knoxville, Tennessee and Carolyn Neff of Columbus, Ohio; and

Fourteen grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Decanter and the Rev. Danny Pankey officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
